It would be good to see the City of Denver and State of Colorado follow the examples of other cities and states and institute a 4 day (10 hours each)work week. Talk about reducing emmisions, costs etc.

My 2 Centavos:

I park my F-150 at least once a week all day and walk or bike. Everybody should have at least one No Driving Day a week.

Walking and biking is good for your health as well as for the planet. You can keep fit, lose weight and keep the air cleaner, all while spending a lot less than the $3.90 gas costs in Sacramento right now...where is the downside?

I'm all for it until marketing and politics ride the wave which is what you have now... Think about it. All products have the new Green side to their products. Its nothing new in their product just the way they advertise it. Its a marketing scheme now folks

It is a waste of taxpayers monies, when we won't do any signifcant reduction and wast millions and millions of $ so the our city leaders can tell a buch of mush heads that they are really striving to do a great job. And it isn't how much action or noise made or how much money spent but what are the end results-and at best it will be negliible.

What is the city and county of Denver for reducing energy consumption. All that we've seen so far is a plan to tax residents and businesses for consumption in excess of an arbitrary amount.

My question would be is the money better spent on replacing toilets or educating the public to make an even bigger impact?

Everyone here that has made a comment might be in some ways correct. However, disagreeing is not going to fix anything. Without even taking into account global warming, everyone should be able to agree that are environment is only getting worse. Let's all take the time to make suggestions that are helpful. Have any of you taken the time to think about the little things we can all do to make a difference? We should all start with Common Sense! There are plenty of websites out there that can provide facts. As a matter of fact, try www.1oddduck.com.

Big Ram Truck is actually correct.
Start reading about it. Meteorologists around the world say it's a scam. And they are being fired for saying it. Use your common sense too to figure this out. There are areas of the globe that are actually getting cooler. Don't hear that on the nightly news, do you.
