What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, a format for sharing and distributing a data "feed" of current news headlines or other Web site content. By subscribing to our feeds, our content automatically comes to you when we have added news and events items.

How do I subscribe?

To view our feeds, you need a newsreader or aggregator. There are many kinds of readers available - new versions appear all the time, so it is important to choose one that works best for you and your computing environment. Some Web browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, Safari and Opera have built-in RSS readers. Additionally, there are several free and commercial Web-based services that you can choose from, or you might want to use a separate program that you install on your computer.

Our feeds are indicated by an orange button - just click to subscribe. Or, you may enter the addresses directly into your newsreader:

Using Greenprint Denver feeds on your site

Our feeds are available as a free service to individuals and organizations, and we invite you to republish them on your public or private Web site or blog. We ask that you please indicate the origin of the feed as coming from Greenprint Denver, and that you use the links to our Web site provided in the feeds for each item of content you display.

To easily change the display of our RSS feed (for example, to select the number of items you want to display or to add your own style formatting), consider using Dr. John Gotze's free Feed2js service to generate custom JavaScript code that you can include on your site.

Prohibited uses

If you do incorporate our feeds into your Web site, you may not edit or modify the actual text or content in our feeds, redirect the links supplied in our feeds, redistribute or "mirror" our feeds from your server, charge any subscriber fees to view our feeds, or sell the information in our feeds. We reserve the right to request that a site remove a feed if we believe it is being used inappropriately.

General disclaimer

We make every effort to ensure that our content is accurate and timely. If you find errors, please notify us for corrections. However, we assume no liability for the accuracy of the information in our feeds, or for any consequences resulting from use of the information therein. Additionally, we reserve the right to modify, restrict access to, or terminate this service at any time without liability.
